  • ● What the role is all about
  • ● Design, build, and maintain Android features in Kotlin, from discovery through to release and ongoing support.
  • ● Collaborate with Product, Design, and SMEs to shape scope, trade-offs, and incremental delivery that maximises user value.
  • ● Write high-quality, testable code; participate in code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
  • ● Own features end-to-end: functionality, performance, accessibility, analytics, experimentation, and release readiness.
  • ● Be curious and adaptable: at times you may learn and contribute beyond Android to move features forward, with support from peers and the broader mobile community.
  • ● Contribute to shared mobile platform components and standards; collaborate with the broader REA mobile community.
  • ● Participate in release cadence, triage, and production support; improve observability and reliability.
  • ● Create and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
  • ● Who we're looking for
  • ● Solid Android experience (around 3-5 years or equivalent impact) with Kotlin as your primary language.
  • ● Strong UI engineering skills, including motion/animation, accessibility, and performance awareness.
  • ● Pragmatic testing and continuous delivery mindset.
