MyOmniCareer (myomnicareer.com) is a platform helping IT professionals find visa-sponsored employment and plan international relocation. Operated by Murari Janka.

2. What data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, authentication method (Google OAuth or email/password)
  • Profile data: work experience, skills, education, certifications, resume documents, target countries, salary expectations
  • Usage data: job searches, applications tracked, AI features used, pages visited
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, session identifiers

3. Why we collect it

  • To provide job matching, visa scoring, resume optimisation, interview preparation, and relocation guidance
  • To improve the platform based on usage patterns
  • To send service-related communications (no marketing without explicit consent)
  • To maintain platform security and prevent abuse

4. How we store it

  • Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in secure cloud infrastructure
  • Passwords are hashed using Argon2 — never stored in plain text
  • Session data is stored in signed, HttpOnly cookies
  • Resume documents are stored securely and accessible only to the account holder

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

  • Supabase (database hosting)
  • Google (OAuth authentication, if used)
  • AI providers (Groq, Google Gemini, OpenRouter) — only job description and anonymised profile data for generating match scores and recommendations
  • Apify (job data collection) — no user data shared

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access all data we hold about you — email support@myomnicareer.com
  • Correct inaccurate data — update via your profile page
  • Delete your account and all associated data — email support@myomnicareer.com
  • Export your data in a portable format — email us to request

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie (omnicareer_session) to maintain your login state. It is HttpOnly, signed, and expires after 7 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage analytics may be retained longer.

9. Changes to this policy

We will notify registered users by email of any material changes to this policy. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
