Content & Copyright Policy

1. What MyOmniCareer does

MyOmniCareer is a job discovery platform that helps internationally mobile professionals find visa-sponsored employment opportunities. We operate as a search engine for publicly available job listings — similar to how Google indexes web pages — aggregating job metadata from employer websites and job boards to make opportunities discoverable in one place.

2. What we index and store

We index the following metadata from publicly available job listings:

  • Job title
  • Company name and location
  • Employment type and work arrangement
  • Brief description excerpts for search and matching purposes
  • Original source URL linking back to the listing

We do not claim ownership of any job listing content. All listings remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. We store metadata solely to power search, AI matching, and visa scoring features for our users.

3. Legal basis for aggregation

Job listing metadata — titles, company names, locations, and factual employment details — constitutes factual information and is generally not protected by copyright law. Our aggregation is consistent with established practices of job search engines operating globally.

We respect the rights of content owners and operate in good faith to ensure our platform adds value to both job seekers and employers by driving traffic back to original listings.

4. Our technical commitments

  • robots.txt compliance — we honour crawl exclusion directives from source websites
  • Source linking — all listings include a link back to the original job posting
  • No source branding — we do not display source platform logos or branding on public pages
  • Expiry respect — we automatically expire and archive listings that are no longer active at source

5. Requesting content removal

If you are a job board, employer, or rights holder and believe content on MyOmniCareer infringes your rights or violates your terms of service, contact us at support@myomnicareer.com with:

  1. Your name, organisation, and contact details
  2. The specific MyOmniCareer URL(s) you are requesting removal of
  3. Your claim of ownership or authority over the content
  4. A description of the alleged infringement

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and action valid requests promptly. We may remove individual listings, restrict ingestion from specific sources, or implement technical exclusions as appropriate.

6. Proactive source exclusion

If you represent a job board or employer website and wish to be permanently excluded from MyOmniCareer indexing, email support@myomnicareer.com with the subject line "Exclusion Request — [Your Domain]". We will add your domain to our exclusion list and cease ingestion within 5 business days.
