About the Company

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Technician 1 - Power based in Reno, Nevada , supporting our Peru Ridge data center customer site . You'll work both independently and as part of a team to service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, commission, and operate Aggreko equipment. This role supports natural gas power solutions in a fast-paced, mission-critical data center environment. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. Responsibilities

  • ● Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generation equipment, including generators, engines, electrical distribution equipment, and related systems.
  • ● Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures in the field and at customer sites, completing repairs independently or alongside other technicians.
  • ● Inspect, test, service, and maintain equipment to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
  • ● Use hand tools, multimeters, diagnostic equipment, schematics, and technical documentation to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • ● Complete work orders, maintenance records, repair logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • ● Assist with job-site setup, equipment commissioning, and operation.
  • ● Work safely around electrical, mechanical, and power-generation equipment while following OSHA, EPA, Aggreko, and customer-site safety requirements.
  • ● Support and mentor less-experienced technicians as needed.
  • ● Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and site leadership.
  • ● Mechanically and electrically inclined with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
  • ● Experienced in one or more areas such as diesel or natural gas engines, generators, industrial maintenance, heavy equipment, electrical system, automotive/truck repair, or field service .
  • ● Comfortable using hand tools and electrical diagnostic equipment such as a multimeter.
  • ● Able to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
  • ● Comfortable performing both preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting/repair.
  • ● Able to work independently, think through technical problems, and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • ● Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where you'll get dirty, work outdoors, and interact with both internal and external customers.
  • ● Safety-focused and able to follow Lockout/Tagout and other established safety procedures.
  • ● A valid driver's license holder.
  • ● A High School Diploma/GED holder.
