MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities

• ● n and repair Aggreko Cummins DO and HFO power plant MAN 9L 21/31 engines as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards
• ● To carry out mechanical equipment maintenance as per work instruction and OEM on Aggreko equipment
• ● To assist on major mechanical maintenance (16K, 32K, 48K Service ).
• ● To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on Aggreko equipment
• ● To complete and maintain paper/electronic records as per site specifics
• ● To carry out replacement, with or without assistance, of engine components on Aggreko generators.
• ● To complete investigation report and share with O&M supervisor.
• ● To identify and fix leaks on LFO (Light Fuel Oil) & HFO (Heavy Fuel Oil) pipework.
• ● Operate the inventory and maintenance management system (M3, MMS (Maintenance Management System), ATA (Aggreko Technician App) or equivalent).
• ● Adherence to 5S walk and Housekeeping
• ● Be certified as LOTO after a 6-month grace period and maintain certification throughout employment
• ● Must successfully complete all assessments in compliance with mechanical technician intermediate level.
• ● The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation
• ● Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights.
