About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Manage and coordinate mechanical scope of works, including structural/mechanical infrastructure installation, piping, generators and associated fuel systems. Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical etc.)
• ● Review and interpret mechanical design documentation, drawings, and specifications
• ● Coordinate subcontractors and mechanical trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on program, and to specification
• ● Prepare and manage mechanical work packages, including scopes of work, procurement, and construction schedules
• ● Liaise with client representatives, engineers, designers and other project stakeholders
• ● Monitor and report on progress, cost, and quality against project targets
• ● Identify and manage project risks, variations, and changes in scope
• ● Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including liaison with commissioning engineers
• ● Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, engineering codes, and site-specific HSE requirements
• ● Contribute to the development of construction methodologies and ITPs for mechanical works
• ● Participate in site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and incident investigations as required
• ● Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Degree or Advanced Diploma)
• ● Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanical project engineering role within construction, mining, or heavy industrial environments
• ● Demonstrated experience delivering fixed plant, structural/mechanical, or piping installation works on greenfield or brownfield sites desirable.
• ● Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and mechanical safety requirements (lifting, pressure equipment, isolation procedures)
• ● Proficient in MS Office and document control systems.
• ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• ● Valid driver's license; willingness to travel and work FIFO/DIDO on a 2/1 roster initially (subject to change).
• ● Current Construction Induction (White Card); mine-specific site inductions can be completed prior to start
