Responsibilities

• ● Manage and coordinate electrical scope of works, including HV/LV reticulation, substations, switchrooms, and associated infrastructure.
• ● Review and interpret electrical design documentation, drawings, and specifications
• ● Coordinate subcontractors and electrical trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on program, and to specification
• ● Prepare and manage electrical work packages, including scopes of work, procurement, and construction schedules
• ● Liaise with client representatives, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• ● Monitor and report on progress, cost, and quality against project targets.
• ● Identify and manage project risks, variations, and changes in scope.
• ● Support commissioning and testing activities, including liaison with commissioning engineers.
• ● Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards, AS/NZS wiring rules, and site-specific HSE .requirements
• ● Contribute to the development of construction methodologies and ITPs for electrical works
• ● Participate in site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and incident investigations as required.
• ● Minimum 2 years' experience in an electrical project engineering role within construction, mining, or heavy industrial environments.
• ● Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (Degree or Advanced Diploma)
• ● Strong understanding of Australian Standards and electrical safety requirements (AS/NZS 3000, HV switching, isolation procedures)
• ● Proficient in MS Office, document control systems
• ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ● Valid driver's licence; willingness to travel and work FIFO/DIDO on roster, initially a 2/1 roster although could be subject to change.
• ● Current Construction Induction (White Card); mine-specific site inductions can be completed prior to start.
