About the Role

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking an AP & Receipting Administrator to join our Support Services Hub. This role is responsible for supporting invoice validation and goods receipting activities, ensuring financial transactions are processed accurately and within required service levels. Working closely with operational, project and finance teams, you will help maintain the integrity of financial records while supporting the efficient delivery of services across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Review, investigate and correct invoices where three-way matching has failed.
  • Validate invoice details against purchase orders and supporting documentation.
  • Process goods receipting activities within JDEGS.
  • Follow up outstanding receipting confirmations with project teams and site coordinators.
  • Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies including missing purchase orders, incorrect amounts and incomplete documentation.
  • Manage service requests through the Support Services Hub platform and maintain accurate records in ServiceNow.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls and audit requirements.
  • Escalate risks or delays that may impact supplier payment timelines.
  • You are a highly organised administrator with experience in accounts payable, invoice processing or financial administration. You have strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a structured environment where accuracy matters.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable and receipting processes.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Understanding of financial controls and audit requirements.
