About the Company

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking a seasoned SAP BASIS Consultant with deep expertise in Windows and SQL Server environments to drive end to end SAP system migrations, upgrades, and performance optimization. The role involves planning and executing on premises to AWS native cloud migrations, managing SAP HANA and ECC/S/4HANA transformation projects, and collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure seamless cut over and minimal business disruption.

Responsibilities

  • ● Design and execute SAP system migrations on Windows/SQL Server platforms and
  • ● AWS cloud environments.
  • ● Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, kernel upgrades, and system
  • ● Conduct homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies using SWPM, including
  • ● migration planning and post migration validation.
  • ● Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation projects using SUM DMO and DMOVE2S4.
  • ● Manage SAP HANA database tasks such as installation, migration, upgrade,
  • ● backup/recovery, and tenant database administration.
  • ● Develop migration strategies, readiness assessments, downtime estimates, and
  • ● cut over plans.
  • ● Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure
  • ● seamless migration execution.
  • ● Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize SAP workloads
  • ● post migration.
  • ● Utilize AWS services (EC2, VPC, EBS, Load Balancers, Route 53, IAM,
  • ● CloudWatch) and AWS Application Migration Service (MGN).
  • ● Document migration processes, create knowledge articles, and ensure adherence
  • ● to project timelines.

Requirements

  • ● + years of SAP BASIS experience on Windows and SQL Server platforms.
  • ● Proven experience in SAP system migrations, upgrades, patching, and kernel
  • ● Hands on expertise with SWPM for system copies and migrations.
  • ● Strong knowledge of SUM DMO and DMOVE2S4 for SAP S/4HANA transformations.
  • ● Extensive experience with SAP HANA installation, migration, backup/recovery,
  • ● and tenant management.
  • ● Good understanding of AWS infrastructure services (EC2, VPC, EBS, Load
  • ● Balancers, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch).
  • ● methodologies; RISE migration knowledge is a plus.
  • ● Ability to develop migration strategies, perform readiness assessments,
  • ● estimate downtime, and execute cut over activities.
  • ● Excellent troubleshooting and performance optimization skills for SAP
  • ● Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
