About the Company

Zensar Technologies Limited is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with deep expertise in SLES and SAP HANA to lead complex system migrations, upgrades, and performance optimization initiatives. The role focuses on moving on premises SAP landscapes to AWS Native Cloud, ensuring seamless transformation for SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments while collaborating with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • ● Plan and execute end to end SAP system migrations from on premises to AWS
  • ● Native Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • ● Perform SAP installations, upgrades, patching, kernel updates, and system
  • ● refreshes on SLES and SAP HANA.
  • ● Conduct homogeneous and heterogeneous system copies using SWPM, including
  • ● migration planning and post migration validation.
  • ● Lead SAP S/4HANA transformation projects using SUM DMO and DMOVE2S4.
  • ● Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA databases, including tenant
  • ● management, backup/recovery, and performance tuning.
  • ● Monitor and troubleshoot SAP HANA and SAP Basis performance issues on
  • ● UNIX/Linux platforms.
  • ● Design and implement AWS infrastructure components (EC2, VPC, EBS, Load
  • ● Balancers, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch) for SAP workloads.
  • ● Utilize AWS Application Migration Service (MGN) and cloud migration
  • ● methodologies; advise on RISE with SAP where applicable.
  • ● Develop migration strategies, conduct readiness assessments, estimate
  • ● downtime, and manage cut over activities.
  • ● Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve
  • ● migration issues and ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

  • ● + years of hands on SAP BASIS experience with SLES and SAP HANA.
  • ● Proven track record of SAP system migrations, upgrades, and performance
  • ● optimization.
  • ● Deep knowledge of SAP HANA installation, migration, upgrade, backup/recovery,
  • ● and tenant administration.
  • ● Strong expertise in SAP migration tools: SWPM, SUM DMO, DMOVE2S4.
  • ● Good understanding of AWS services (EC2, VPC, EBS, Load Balancers, Route 53,
  • ● IAM, CloudWatch) and networking for SAP.
  • ● best practices.
  • ● Ability to develop migration strategies, perform readiness assessments, and
  • ● manage cut over planning.
  • ● Excellent troubleshooting skills across SAP Basis, HANA, and underlying
  • ● UNIX/Linux OS.
  • ● Strong communication and coordination abilities with cross functional teams.
  • ● Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate - System
  • ● Administration (SAP HANA), AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
