Responsibilities

  • Help customers design, build, and operate secure AWS solutions across a wide range of projects - from core cloud platform work through to AI and generative AI workloads.
  • Support solution shaping, technical investigation, automation, documentation, and the coordination of feature uplift or new pattern requests.
  • Balance multiple concurrent engagements, shifting priorities, and tight delivery and compliance deadlines.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services such as VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, and KMS is required.
  • Relevant AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security - Specialty, are desirable.
  • Exposure to AI and generative AI services on AWS, such as Amazon Bedrock, Bedrock AgentCore, and Amazon SageMaker, with a genuine interest in growing in this space is required.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform, and CI/CD practices using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions for application and infrastructure delivery is required.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and operational practices, including IAM, RBAC, network security, secrets management, encryption, monitoring, logging, and production readiness is required.
  • Experience with containerisation and microservices patterns using Docker and Amazon ECS is required.
  • Ability to analyse customer requirements, ask good discovery questions, and translate technical needs into practical solution options is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to work across multiple teams, manage ambiguity, and stay effective under pressure in a fast-paced, highly regulated enterprise environment are required.
