About the Company

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to support credit risk assessment and counterparty management within a commodities trading environment. This role will be responsible for evaluating the financial strength of trading counterparties, monitoring credit exposure, and providing timely risk analysis to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • ● Conduct credit assessments on counterparties through financial statement, cash flow, and credit risk analysis.
  • ● Monitor counterparty exposure, credit limits, and market developments to identify potential risks.
  • ● Prepare credit recommendations and support internal approval processes.
  • ● Assist in maintaining credit documentation and ensuring adherence to internal risk policies and procedures.
  • ● Work closely with trading, operations, and finance teams to support effective credit risk management.
  • ● Support ongoing monitoring and reporting of credit exposures and portfolio risks.
  • ● Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc projects where required.

Requirements

  • ● Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline with approximately 4-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or within commodities/energy trading environments.
  • ● Strong financial analysis and analytical skills.
  • ● Good attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • ● Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
