Responsibilities

  • ● General administration duties are performed.
  • ● Outbound paperwork is inputted into the system.
  • ● Received PO's are reconciled.
  • ● Paperwork is scanned and hyperlinked for filing.
  • ● Trucks are booked for receiving.
  • ● The receiving backlog report, freight claims, etc. are worked on.
  • ● Material is prepared and loaded in a timely manner so as to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
  • ● Pertinent documentation is prepared for shipment of goods.
  • ● Liaising with freight companies and inside/outside customers is done to determine shipping priorities.

Requirements

  • ● Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
  • ● The ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization is necessary.
  • ● The individual must be highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking.
  • ● Knowledge of industry products is an asset.
  • ● The individual must be dependable and reliable, with the ability to take ownership and initiative.
  • ● Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communications skills are required.
  • ● A high level of commitment to exceptional customer service is necessary.
  • ● The individual must be a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
