Responsibilities

  • ● Act as a trusted commercial advisor to technology and business leaders, embedding sharp Commercial Acumen into business cases, operational budgeting, and major capital expenditure plans.
  • ● Foster deep Relationship Building and Collaborative Delivery, partnering across technical, operational, and finance functions to align financial strategy with broader business objectives.
  • ● Leverage your AI & Data Literacy and Critical Thinking to build sophisticated financial models, evaluate complex data sets, and assess the financial performance of ongoing projects and investments.
  • ● Navigate dynamic project portfolios and shifting business priorities with Adaptability and structured Problem Solving, identifying innovative opportunities for cost optimisation and value creation.

Requirements

  • ● Demonstrated experience operating as a trusted commercial advisor in a complex, matrix organisation, powered by strong Commercial Acumen and Customer-Focused Thinking.
  • ● A talent for Relationship Building and Collaborative Delivery, with the proven ability to influence senior non-finance stakeholders and translate complex financial concepts into actionable advice.
  • ● Strong AI & Data Literacy and advanced financial modelling capabilities to interrogate data, track capital expenditure, and apply Critical Thinking to business reporting.
  • ● A flexible mindset and proven Adaptability, using structured Problem Solving to navigate the financial lifecycle of large-scale projects, capital allocations, and post-implementation reviews.
  • ● A solid foundation in finance, accounting, commerce, or a related analytical field, complemented by relevant professional qualifications or equivalent commercial experience.
