Our Capalaba store is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to join their team a full time basis. This is an opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, overseeing a retail team with a unique buzz and energy at Telstra within a dynamic team environment at Telstra.

Responsibilities

  • ● Oversee the induction of your new team members
  • ● Coach the store's team to meet (and exceed) store targets
  • ● Help support your team with customer query escalations
  • ● Be the Store Manager's right-hand person, stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
  • ● Executing business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics.
  • ● Act as team cheer leader - leading from the front and helping to motivate the team, and foster an awesome store culture
  • ● Organise the store floor and team's work schedules, to meet customer demand.

Requirements

  • ● You have previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role
  • ● You're able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
  • ● You lead from the front and are able to influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
  • ● You're able to resolve customer issues with your eyes closed and can put a creative spin on problem solving
  • ● You're an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change.
