Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and engineering support for business-critical applications and services.
  • Maintain high levels of application availability, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Lead technical investigations, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.
  • Support application upgrades, enhancements, integrations, cloud migrations, and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Support change, release, and deployment activities while ensuring operational readiness.
  • Drive automation, modernisation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the application portfolio.
  • Manage technical risks, compliance requirements, and governance obligations.
  • Maintain technical and operational documentation, support models, and service standards.
  • Provide mentoring and technical guidance to internal teams and delivery partners.
  • Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience supporting and engineering enterprise applications within large and complex environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of software development, application support, integration technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL practices including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Domain Expertise
  • Strong functional and operational knowledge of TDI and Wholesale business processes, systems, and application ecosystems .
  • Deep understanding of the operational workflows, regulatory obligations, service delivery models, and customer impacts associated with Telstra's TDI and Wholesale application landscape.
  • Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions while providing subject matter expertise across application support, enhancements, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
