Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance calibrations and inspections to insure minimal disruption to the production process.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the site.
  • Sets up, replace, and install process instrumentation with minimal supervision.
  • Provide insight and feedback from assigned work.
  • Complete equipment history information files to document technical issues.
  • Document mechanical or electrical problems that may disrupt the production process.
  • Communicate with process operators and productions shift supervisors on equipment status.
  • Utilize time to keep up routine cleaning of your work area consistent with the company's cGMP Policy.
  • Proper use of Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) conforming to cGMP standards.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork behavior, promotion of process efficiency, and effectively communicate safety and procedural issues with coworkers and supervisor. Punctuality, good attendance, and the ability to adjust to a variety of assignments.
  • Employee must have personal hand tools. DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCES:
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and industry standards of electrical equipment
  • Ability to complete general maintenance work in the instrumentation, control, and electrical areas.
  • Minimum 7 years prior employment experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Manufacturing and food industry experience
  • Ability to understand Input and Output addressing in Logic Controllers.
  • REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
  • Read and understand electrical schematic drawings, instrument loop diagrams and P&ID's
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SAP, PI and CADD
  • Possesses mathematics and English language reading skills for technical publications and general instructions.
