THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE Openbank Mexico is looking for a Head of Banking to define and lead the banking strategy for Openbank Mexico, building a scalable and commercially sound proposition aligned with business growth, customer needs and regulatory requirements, with end-to-end accountability for business performance, P&L and customer value.   • ● Professional Experience
  • ● Significant senior experience in retail banking, digital banking, deposits, payments, fintech or financial services.
  • ● Proven track record defining or scaling banking strategies, deposit propositions, payments or digital banking products in a regulated environment.
  • ● Demonstrated experience owning or managing P&L and business performance within banking, payments, deposits or digital financial services.
  • ● Previous exposure to fintech, digital banking, deposits, payments or high-growth financial services businesses will be highly valued.
  • ● Relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
  • ● Fluency in Spanish and English (required).
  • ● Strong understanding of retail banking economics, deposits and funding, pricing, payments, customer engagement and product management.
  • ● Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to balance growth, customer value, funding economics and profitability.
  • ● Ability to move from business vision to product, commercial and operational implementation.
  • ● Strategic thinking combined with practical execution.
  • ● Strong business judgement and analytical mindset.
  • ● Ability to make decisions in complex, fast-moving environments.
