Responsibilities

  • ● You will partner closely with Engineering, Design/UX, Data, Operations, Customer Growth, Customer Needs, and Risk, Legal and Compliance. You will also collaborate with other product teams, platform teams and international stakeholders across Openbank and Santander.
  • ● Your job is to identify the highest-impact opportunities within your area, turn them into clear product bets, and lead your squad from discovery shipped product measurable outcomes.
  • ● This is a hands-on product leadership role focused on strategy, discovery, prioritisation and value delivery. It is not an operations, service-delivery or project-coordination role.
  • ● Own the vision, roadmap and prioritisation of the Openbank app experience.
  • ● Lead one cross-functional squad, aligning Engineering, Design, Data and business partners around clear customer and business outcomes.
  • ● Define and own product metrics across activation, engagement, conversion, retention, self-service and customer satisfaction.
  • ● Lead continuous discovery using product data, customer feedback, UX research and experimentation.
  • ● Identify high-impact customer problems and simplify complex journeys across the app.
  • ● Translate customer and business needs into clear hypotheses, MVPs, product requirements and success criteria.
  • ● Prioritise based on customer value, business impact, strategic alignment, regulation and technical feasibility.
  • ● Work closely with other product managers to create a consistent and connected app experience across journeys.
  • ● Monitor performance after launch and use evidence to improve, iterate or change direction.

  • ● Professional Experience
  • ● + years in product management, owning mobile-first consumer products from discovery through launch and optimisation.
  • ● Strong product sense and a track record of UX excellence: simplifying complexity and building intuitive customer journeys.
  • ● Zero-to-one, major feature or product-rebuild experience: taking ambiguous problems from idea shipped product measurable outcomes.
  • ● Fluent in English (Required)
  • ● Fluent in Spanish (Preferred) Hard Skills
  • ● Data-informed mindset; comfortable with funnels, instrumentation, experimentation and KPI ownership. (Required)
  • ● Strong discovery and prioritisation skills, using customer evidence, product data and business impact to make clear decisions. (Required) Soft Skills
