Responsibilities

  • ● What will you be doing
  • ● As Grounds & Maintenance Manager , you will oversee the presentation, upkeep and safety of the resort's grounds, buildings, equipment and facilities. You will lead a small team while also being hands-on in maintaining the property and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
  • ● In this role, you will:
  • ● Lead and supervise the Grounds & Maintenance team, including recruitment, training and performance management.
  • ● Maintain the gardens, grounds and landscaping to a high standard.
  • ● Plan and manage preventative maintenance programs across resort facilities and accommodation.
  • ● Coordinate and supervise contractors completing maintenance work on site.
  • ● Carry out general maintenance, repairs and upkeep of buildings, plant and equipment.
  • ● Maintain and service machinery, tools and vehicles across the property.
  • ● Monitor and maintain resort infrastructure, including water, wastewater and other essential systems.
  • ● Oversee pool testing and maintenance to ensure compliance and guest safety.
  • ● Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety procedures and safe work practices.
  • ● Work closely with Resort Management and other departments to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • ● Manage maintenance budgets, supplies and equipment within operational guidelines.
  • ● Participate in an after-hours on-call roster and attend callouts as required.
