Responsibilities

  • ● Manage end-to-end export and import processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with global trade regulations.
  • ● Develop and implement strategies to optimize international logistics cost, time, and service levels.
  • ● Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to ensure smooth cargo movements.
  • ● Monitor changes in trade policies and regulations to ensure company compliance.
  • ● Lead and mentor the EXIM team, setting performance goals and driving continuous improvement.
  • ● Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to align EXIM operations with business objectives.
  • ● Handle risk management related to trade operations, including managing tariffs, duties, and trade disputes

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
  • ● + years of experience in export-import management, preferably within FMCG.
  • ● Strong knowledge of international trade compliance, customs regulations, and shipping documentation.
  • ● Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • ● Proficient in SAP and trade management software.
  • ● Strong knowledge of warehouse management, transportation, and inventory control.
  • ● Leadership abilities with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
