Responsibilities

  • ● Design and deploy generative artificial intelligence solutions supporting drug discovery and biomedical research workflows
  • ● Build rapid prototypes and scalable applications combining foundation models, retrieval systems, and workflow orchestration
  • ● Develop production-ready large language model applications with robust context handling, tool integration, and monitoring
  • ● Translate emerging generative artificial intelligence and agentic approaches into practical, reusable solutions
  • ● Apply engineering best practices including testing, benchmarking, version control, and lifecycle management
  • ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful artificial intelligence solutions aligned with research priorities
  • ● Identify opportunities to enhance scientist productivity using artificial intelligence assistants and workflow automation
  • ● Contribute to architecture, scalability, security, and reliability of artificial intelligence-powered systems
  • ● Share best practices, reusable components, and technical guidance across teams working on artificial intelligence applications
  • ● Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies to advance generative artificial intelligence capabilities

Requirements

  • ● + years of experience building and deploying artificial intelligence or machine learning systems in production
  • ● + years of hands-on experience designing large language model applications including retrieval augmented generation and tool integration
  • ● Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing scalable services, application programming interfaces, and reusable libraries
  • ● Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar ecosystems
  • ● Understanding of evaluation metrics for generative artificial intelligence systems including quality, reliability, and cost considerations
  • ● Awareness of security, governance, and responsible artificial intelligence practices in enterprise environments
  • ● Publications, patents, or open-source contributions in artificial intelligence or computational sciences
