  • ● This role is based in the Michelin Shared Services Center in Bucharest, Michelin Corporate & Business Services, where more than 1000 colleagues deliver excellence in Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, Sales Administration, Personnel and Service Management.
  • ● Your mission as Chief Accountant:
  • ● responsible for the deadlines and quality of the financial statements (Group and Statutory), as well as the reliability of the data provided to internal and external stakeholders.
  • ● support for the Territory/Country Corporate Finance Leader in validating financial statements and other reports for internal and external needs.
  • ● What will you do
  • ● Oversee all accounting activities for our Turkey operations within the Bucharest Shared Service Center.
  • ● General review of the monthly closure process prepared in accordance with the Group's standards and Statutory requirements, in order to guarantee the economic coherence of the financial statements and facilitate their validation by the Territory/Country Corporate Finance Leader.
  • ● Ensure quality of accounting data used for preparing tax returns
  • ● Prepare and submit for validation to the Territory/Country Corporate Finance Leader of the Statutory reporting as per Turkish accounting standards and regulations (similar IFRS).
  • ● Oversee the Group and Statutory audits.
  • ● Prepare or contribute to business forecasts in order to satisfy internal and external needs.
  • ● In case of regulatory or fiscal controls, present and explain the relevant accounting data.
  • ● Provide guidance on financial matters to various departments and assist in decision-making processes.
  • ● Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and industry best practices.
  • ● Make recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • ● Contribute to other financial accountings matters and ad-hoc financial projects.
  • ● What we are looking for
  • ● Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant senior accounting role, preferably within a Shared Service Center or a multinational company.
