Maersk is looking for a motivated Customs Associate to join our Customs Services team in Rijeka. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in customs operations, international trade, and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • ● stomers operating in the Italian market.
  • ● Assist in the preparation and processing of customs declarations.
  • ● Collect, review, and verify import and export documentation.
  • ● Support customs clearance activities and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • ● Communicate with customers regarding customs requirements and missing documents.
  • ● Maintain records and update customs systems.
  • ● Support compliance activities in line with customs regulations and company policies.
  • ● Participate in daily operational tasks and process improvement initiatives.
  • ● Learn about customs procedures, tariff classifications, and international trade regulations. What We're Looking For
  • ● Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Logistics, Economics, International Trade, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • ● Fluency in Croatian and English .
  • ● Strong interest in customs, trade compliance, and logistics.
  • ● High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • ● Good communication and organizational skills.
  • ● Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
