About the Role

As a Private Shopping Waiter, you'll be part of an elite team based in our iconic Penthouse and Private Service Suite creating a seamless, personalised experience for Harrods' most discerning clients, where every detail matters.

Responsibilities

  • ● Offering a seamless and unrivalled client journey, achieved the moment our clients walk through our doors, through personalised attention, intuitive and anticipatory service and in-depth product knowledge.
  • ● Prepare and serve premium beverages, from artisan coffee to champagne and bespoke cocktails, alongside light refreshments.
  • ● Maintain the immaculate luxury standard of our lounges, ensuring comfort and elegance at all times.
  • ● Anticipate client needs through intuitive service and in-depth product knowledge.
  • ● Organise and execute mise-en-place duties before and after service to keep operations flawless.
  • ● This role is fully on site, working 5 out of the 7 days a week.

Requirements

  • ● We're looking for individuals who thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced luxury environment and can deliver exceptional service with confidence, whilst maintaining a professional approach when handling client requests with discretion. This is a busy, active role where you'll be on your feet throughout the day engaging with customers and at times carrying heavy items.
  • ● You will bring:
  • ● Food and beverage experience, ideally in hotels, events, or fine dining.
  • ● Knowledge of mixology, barista skills, or silver service, with the ability to flex between bartender and waiter duties.
  • ● Strong customer service instincts and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences.
  • ● Calm efficiency under pressure and a professional approach to every interaction.
