About the Role

The Technology Asset Manager ensures that hardware, software, cloud services, technology contracts and licensing are effectively managed throughout their lifecycle, while maintaining a single source of truth for technology assets through the CMDB. Working closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Security and HR, the role provides strategic oversight of technology investments, asset compliance, lifecycle planning, vendor management and Joiner, Mover and Leaver (JML) processes Job Responsibilities; Manage renewals, obligations, risks and commercial opportunities Maximise software value through optimisation and governance Manage strategic technology supplier relationships and performance Establish consistent asset management policies and controls Drive maturity, automation and operational efficiency Ensure accurate, reliable and trusted asset information

Responsibilities

  • ITIL v4 Foundation
  • IAITAM CITAM (Certified IT Asset Manager) or IAITAM
  • Understanding of FinOps principles
  • CHAMP (Hardware Asset Management)
  • FinOps Certified Practitione
  • Clear Communication both written and verbal

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate is commercially minded, data-driven, highly organised, influential, and capable of bringing together technology, finance, procurement and governance disciplines to maximise the value of every technology investment. It is important that you have previous experience in with End-to-end assets Lifecyle management and hardware asset management, as well as experience using programmes such as Axonius and Cetero and platforms such as ServiceNow and Fresh Service.
