Responsibilities

  • ● Provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes.
  • ● Improve the quality of life for older people.
  • ● Build meaningful relationships and offer companionship.
  • ● Travel to clients' homes using your own car.

Requirements

  • ● Be available to work on Thursday and Friday.
  • ● Be a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused.
  • ● Have previous experience in aged or community care, or be looking to start your career in aged care.
  • ● Have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum Third Party Property Insurance).
  • ● Be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients.
  • ● Ideally, have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support (if not currently qualified, HammondCare can assist).
  • ● Be female (recognised as a genuine occupational qualification for this role and authorised under applicable Anti-Discrimination/Equal Opportunities legislation).
