About the Opportunity The Network Engineer is a key role within HammondCare, responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the voice and data communication services, with a focus on maximum availability and operational performance. This is permanent full time, based at St Leonards with hybrid working opportunities. How you'll make an impact: Design, implement, maintain, and optimise enterprise voice, data, and network security services across the HammondCare environment Provide Level 3 technical support, troubleshooting and resolving complex telephony, networking, and security related issues Develop and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, standards, procedures, reports, and operational records Analyse, evaluate, and support t

Requirements

  • ● Demonstrated commitment to supporting and aligning with HammondCare's Christian Mission, Motivation, and Mission in Action
  • ● Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline
  • ● At least 5 year's demonstrated experience as a Network Engineer or Senior Network Engineer
  • ● Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise voice, security, networking, and communications infrastructure across diverse technology environments
  • ● Strong understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices relevant to telecommunications, networking, and data communications
  • ● Broad knowledge of modern communications technologies, including cloud networking, data centres, SD-WAN, WAN, VoIP, wireless, and collaboration platforms
  • ● Technical expertise in routing, switching, TCP/IP networking, routing protocols, firewalls, cloud voice services, and Azure networking
  • ● Strong understanding of SD-WAN architecture, Network Security, and Network authentication
  • ● Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • ● Excellent communication, stakeholder management, customer service, and project delivery capabilities
  • ● Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and provide on-call/after-hours support when required
  • ● Certification in cisco or equivalent (CCNP, CCIE, CCNA)
  • ● ITIL certification
