About the Role

With our unique model of care that places residents' needs as your number one priority, you will help create a home away from home for our residents. This clinical support role expects you to work within a consultative and advisory context rather than an authoritarian approach, carrying professional accountability and responsibility in line with RN registration requirements and AHPRA registration.

Responsibilities

  • ● Advise and support care delivery by the care staff.
  • ● Educate and mentor in clinical areas and processes.
  • ● Consult in case management and clinical decision making.
  • ● Provide clinical oversight and maintain professional competence as a Registered Nurse.
  • ● Implement and support a resident comfort focus.
  • ● Use the LeeCare online reporting system to document and manage care.

Requirements

  • ● Hold current AHPRA registration and ideally have 2-3 years of experience in an aged care setting.
  • ● Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • ● Value teamwork while also being able to work independently and show initiative.
  • ● Have knowledge and experience of people living with dementia and their needs.
  • ● Have a genuine passion for serving elderly people and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
  • ● Possess strong administrative and computer skills.
