About the Role

In this role, you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • ● Provide personal care - helping with showering and dressing
  • ● Help around the home - meal preparation and light house cleaning
  • ● Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping
  • ● Assist with medication

Requirements

  • ● You can relate to people and you're patient and solutions-focused
  • ● You may have previous experience in aged or community care or are looking to start your career in aged care
  • ● You have a valid Driver's Licence and access to an insured, reliable car
  • ● Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
  • ● You'll be flexible around meeting the changing needs of home care clients
  • ● Being female is recognised as a genuine occupational qualification for this role
