About the Job
The role involves getting to know each resident personally while supporting their daily living, health, and wellbeing. You will assist with daily activities, collaborate with the team to meet challenging needs, promote physical and mental activity, monitor health and treatments, provide companionship, and uphold each resident's privacy and dignity.
Role & Responsibilities
- ● Lend a hand with daily life, ensuring residents feel heard, comfortable and well fed.
- ● Work with the team to support residents with challenging needs.
- ● Help keep residents' bodies and minds active.
- ● Monitor residents' health and assist with treatments.
- ● Be a friend to residents.
- ● Respect each resident's privacy and dignity.
Requirements
Certifications
- ● A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
Experience
- ● Experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role.
Skills
- ● A genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives.
- ● Strong clinical documentation and computer skills.
- ● Ability to work on a part time or casual basis.
