About the Job
The part time Cook role focuses on creating a homelike environment for residents by delivering fresh, wholesome meals to a high service standard, working closely with the chef and the broader kitchen team.
Role & Responsibilities
- ● Work alongside the chef to assist with kitchen management.
- ● Tailor meals to meet individual resident needs and preferences.
- ● Ensure residents receive healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals.
- ● Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience.
Requirements
Certifications
- ● Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
Experience
- ● Have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, with aged care experience regarded highly.
- ● Have extensive experience with a broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements, addressing the social, spiritual, and cultural needs of residents.
Skills
- ● Possess strong communication and documentation skills.
