About the Job

In this busy, diverse, and challenging role, you will deliver exceptional service to residents, ensuring their meal experience is of the highest standard. There is an opportunity available for a Weekend Chef and a Weekday Cook.

Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Take pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment where residents can look forward to enjoying a meal in the company of others (Chef).
  • ● Make a rewarding contribution by creating nutritious and healthy meals that bring delight to our residents (Chef).
  • ● Work alongside the Chef to assist with kitchen management (Cook).
  • ● Tailor meals to meet individual needs and preferences (Cook).
  • ● Ensure our residents are provided with healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals (Cook).
  • ● Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience (Cook).

Requirements

Experience

  • ● Has experience within a commercial kitchen.

Skills

  • ● Brings their passion for creating nutritious, healthy, and delicious food to create meal experiences that enrich the lives of our residents.
  • ● Holds a relevant cookery qualification or equivalent experience.
  • ● Uses their attention to food handling and hygiene standards and the ability to ensure menus can cater to diverse individual needs.
  • ● Trains and mentors their kitchen team to the expected standards (Chef).
  • ● All shortlisted applicants will need to pass the required background checks.
  • ● During the influenza season, all staff are required to provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination.
