About the Role

This is a part-time position working Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 5pm. In this varied and busy role, you will deliver engaging, fun and varied activities to ensure residents have their best day, everyday. A key part of the role is giving personal care and emotional support to residents to help them feel valued, safe, and maintain strong social connections within the home. You will also provide aspects of direct care and enjoy getting to know the personal interests of residents, finding engaging, fun, and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.

Responsibilities

  • ● Deliver engaging, fun and varied activities to ensure residents have their best day, everyday.
  • ● Give personal care and emotional support to residents to help them feel valued, safe, and maintain strong social connections within the home.
  • ● Provide aspects of direct care to residents.
  • ● Get to know the personal interests of residents and find engaging, fun, and innovative activities that keep them motivated and smiling.

Requirements

  • ● Bring energy and passion for enriching the lives of older Australians.
  • ● Be a team player who wants to be part of a collaborative team in a dynamic and growing sector.
  • ● Be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • ● Have a passion for building genuine relationships and a desire to see residents enjoying themselves.
  • ● Be available for a part-time position on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 5pm.
  • ● Pass required background checks.
  • ● Provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination during the influenza season.
