Responsibilities

  • ● Prep food and drink.
  • ● Clean the kitchen including dishes to maintain a sparkling environment.
  • ● Change up the menu by working with the team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual.
  • ● Keep records as part of the Food Safety Program.
  • ● Be active and on your feet for most of your shift.

Requirements

  • ● A real desire to make a difference in people's lives.
  • ● Experience in kitchen work; aged care experience is a bonus.
  • ● Great time management and planning skills.
  • ● Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.
  • ● Pass required background checks.
  • ● Provide evidence of current influenza vaccination during influenza season.
