About the Job
In this role you will help create a home that residents love by delivering the highest service standards and preparing fresh, wholesome meals. Your passion for quality food and teamwork will be central to providing a memorable dining experience for residents.
Role & Responsibilities
- ● Work alongside the chef to assist with kitchen management.
- ● Tailor meals to meet individual resident needs and preferences.
- ● Ensure residents receive healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals.
- ● Support the broader kitchen team to deliver a memorable dining experience.
Requirements
Certifications
- ● Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
Experience
- ● Have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, with aged care experience regarded highly.
- ● Possess extensive experience with a broad range of cuisines and dietary requirements, responding to residents' social, spiritual and cultural needs.
Skills
- ● Possess strong communication and documentation skills.
