Job Title Sr. Manager - Data Integration (S4Hana & Azure Data Lake) Location Bangalore HO / Hybrid Reporting To Head of Data and Analytics Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead the design, implementation, and transition of data extraction and replication processes from SAP S/4HANA to Azure Data Lake as part of our enterprise S/4HANA transformation program.

Responsibilities

  • ● S/4HANA Data Extraction & Replication
  • ● Lead the design and implementation of data extraction strategies from SAP S/4HANA into Azure Data Lake.
  • ● Assess existing SAP ECC/BW extractors and define migration and replacement strategies for S/4HANA.
  • ● Design and manage extraction mechanisms including:
  • ● SAP CDS Views
  • ● ODP (Operational Data Provisioning)
  • ● SAP Extractors
  • ● SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation)
  • ● SAP Datasphere integrations (where applicable)
  • ● SAP Data Intelligence/Data Services
  • ● Define approaches for real-time, near real-time, and batch data replication.
  • ● Azure Data Lake Integration
  • ● Manage end-to-end data movement from S/4HANA into Azure Data Lake.
  • ● Collaborate with Azure Data Engineering teams on:
  • ● Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • ● Azure Synapse Analytics
  • ● Event-driven architectures
  • ● Delta Lake frameworks
  • ● Ensure scalable, performant, and secure data ingestion pipelines. Data Model & Table Transition Management
  • ● Analyze impacts of S/4HANA simplification on source tables and data structures.

Requirements

  • ● SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA data architecture.
  • ● SAP extractors and operational reporting frameworks.
  • ● ODP framework.
  • ● CDS Views and Embedded Analytics.
  • ● SAP BW/BW4HANA (preferred).
