Clarivate is looking to expand its data science team with a talented Senior Data Scientist to join us in Europe, on a hybrid model, from our Barcelona Office. Requirements

  • ● Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • ● At least 5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, Data Science, or a related technical field, including the delivery of AI/ML/NLP solutions in production environments.
  • ● At least 3 years of hands-on experience across the machine learning lifecycle, including data acquisition, preprocessing, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining for tasks such as classification, regression, clustering, and ranking.
  • ● At least 5 years of Python development experience, including building, testing, and deploying production-grade applications, data pipelines, or machine learning solutions.
  • ● At least 2 years of experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure) and MLOps technologies such as Docker and MLflow in enterprise or production environments.
  • ● At least 3 years of experience working in Agile software development environments, including code reviews, version control, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and delivering solutions in situations with evolving requirements and ambiguity

  • ● What will you be doing in this role
  • ● Identify strategic information needs of internal or external clients and translate these into effective, performant and impactful AI solutions.
  • ● Work in collaboration with other Data Scientists to create solutions that support professional, highly skilled decision makers in their innovation workflow.
  • ● Explore existing data for insights and recommend additional sources of data for improvements.
  • ● Perform exploratory analysis to uncover insights and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • ● Design and execute experiments to validate hypotheses and measure business impact.
  • ● Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful integration and deployment of solutions into production environments.
  • ● Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • ● Contribute to the adoption of best practices in machine learning, experimentation, and model evaluation.
