Role & Responsibilities
- ● Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Development Kits (CDKs) and/or scripting languages such as Python/Shell
- ● Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application/service deployment and testing
- ● Support, troubleshoot, and maintain build and test environments in cloud and on-premises infrastructure
- ● Ensure security and cost best practices are followed early in the development phase, including IAM, least privilege, and secrets management
- ● Partner with different teams to support application deployments into production, including refreshed existing applications and new initiatives
Requirements
Education
- ● Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
Experience
- ● Minimum 2 years of experience in software automation and system administration, including minimum 2 years of experience with AWS
- ● Minimum 1 year of experience with Terraform driven Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- ● Minimum 1 year of experience working with cloud security fundamentals, including IAM, GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
- ● Experience with EKS/Kubernetes, including both cluster administration and deploying applications to clusters is preferred
- ● Experience with observability/monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana is preferred
Skills
- ● Proficiency in English
- ● Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, Groovy is preferred
- ● Strong UNIX/Linux command-line skills with ability to write effective Bash scripts to automate procedures and workflows is preferred
- ● Familiarity with Databricks and Delta Lake tools is preferred
