We are looking for an Associate Content Editor - IP Law (Japanese and English-speaking) to join our Content Editing team. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about IP Law, especially within Japan. We would love to speak with you if you have a law degree, good knowledge of Japanese and English language, as well as knowledge of IP Law.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent work experience.
  • ● Proficient level of Japanese and English language (C1).

  • ● Knowledge of the IP Law and Japanese Law.
  • ● What will you be doing in this role
  • ● Apply curation and analysis of IP case law within assigned product database.
  • ● Improve data discoverability through the extraction and analysis of IP case law data points within assigned product database.
  • ● Deliver high-quality records by ensuring completeness, proper data structure, and timeliness of record updates.
  • ● Play an active role in team and maintain awareness of current trends and new developments in area of expertise.
  • ● Monitor and prioritize the daily volume based on the product requirements.
  • ● About the Team
  • ● This part of the Content Editing team is focused on Darts IP content in Japan for trademarks and designs. Darts IP is a comprehensive, searchable IP cases solution. We ingest and curate thousands of trademark cases and many of them concern conflicts between trademarks, where the similarity of goods and/or services is also being discussed.

  • ● This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.
