Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers responsible for 24x7 monitoring and support of critical applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and production services.
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring SLA compliance, managing incidents and major outages, and overseeing service health, performance, and availability.
  • Plan and execute operational changes, patching activities, maintenance events, and service restoration efforts while minimizing business impact.
  • Champion automation, observability, continuous improvement, and operational maturity initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Mentor and develop team members while providing operational reporting, risk updates, and service reviews to business and technology leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in Technology Operations, Infrastructure Support, Monitoring, or Production Support environments.
  • Proven experience leading technology operations teams in a 24x7 support environment.
  • Strong knowledge of incident management, problem management, service restoration, and operational governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Product, and Customer Success teams.
  • Experience with ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Centreon, or PRTG.
  • Experience supporting private and public cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong Linux, Windows, and networking troubleshooting skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Experience with automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
