Acting as a trusted technology advisor, you'll bring together business strategy and technology delivery to create a clear architectural vision that drives meaningful outcomes. You'll lead the development of long-term technology roadmaps, influence strategic decisions, and ensure our platforms, products and services evolve in line with business priorities.
• ● Working closely with leaders across Product, Engineering, Commercial and Operations, you'll help identify future capabilities, navigate complex technology challenges, and provide architectural leadership across a diverse and evolving landscape. You'll balance innovation with pragmatism, ensuring technology investments are scalable, resilient and ready for the future.

• ● Act as a trusted technology leader and strategic advisor, building strong relationships across business and technology teams to ensure architectural decisions support both current priorities and future growth.
• ● Define and communicate a clear architectural vision that connects business strategy with technology delivery, shaping the direction of key investments, programmes and transformation initiatives.
• ● Create and evolve technology roadmaps that balance business goals, customer needs and technical innovation, turning long-term strategy into practical plans that drive successful outcomes.
• ● Lead architecture reviews, design decisions and option assessments, confidently navigating trade-offs between cost, complexity, risk, customer impact and long-term sustainability.
• ● Champion innovation by exploring emerging technologies, automation and AI-enabled tools that improve efficiency, accelerate delivery and enhance the quality of architectural outcomes.
• ● Ensure technology solutions are secure, compliant, scalable and aligned with enterprise standards, providing guidance and governance that enables teams to move quickly with confidence.
• ● Coach, mentor and inspire architects, engineers and technology teams, promoting best practices, reusable patterns and a culture of continuous learning that strengthens architectural capability across Centrica.
