• ● As a Senior Business Analyst within Centrica Technology, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering large, complex transformation initiatives that drive real business value. Working across the full lifecycle-from early shaping through to delivery-you'll define high-quality functional and non-functional requirements that bridge business ambition and technology execution.
• ● You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across Group Functions and Technology to turn strategic objectives into clear, actionable solutions, ensuring that every change we deliver is aligned, measurable, and impactful. This is an opportunity to be at the heart of our transformation, influencing how we simplify processes, leverage digital and AI capabilities, and enable Centrica to deliver against its long-term ambitions.
• ● You will shape and define demand, working with stakeholders to take ideas from early scoping through to clear, well-formed business cases that support strategic priorities
• ● You will lead requirements end-to-end, from discovery and elicitation through to documentation and sign-off, ensuring clarity, quality and alignment to business outcomes
• ● You will engage and influence stakeholders, acting as the bridge between business and technology to align objectives, challenge thinking and drive the right outcomes
• ● You will facilitate workshops and drive clarity, running engaging sessions to uncover problems, define processes and agree solutions that are simple, scalable and effective
• ● You will support delivery across the lifecycle, working closely with delivery, QA and UAT teams to ensure requirements are understood, traceable and delivered as intended
• ● You will drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve efficiency, coach and mentor team members and enhance the overall quality of delivery across the portfolio
• ● What we need from you
• ● You will bring strong experience as a Business Analyst with a proven track record of delivering across complex projects or programmes
• ● You will have an excellent understanding and experience of working within Group Functions such as Finance, Procurement and HR, along with how technology (e.g. SAP ERP, SAP Ariba, Workday) supports and enables these areas
• ● You will be confident communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
• ● You will be an analytical thinker, able to interpret data and present meaningful insights to a wide range of business and technology audiences
