Responsibilities

  • ● Lead the delivery of Cash & Banking activities across the Group, ensuring accurate accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting at an Enterprise-wide level.
  • ● Oversee the control and reconciliation of customer payment and refund accounts, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • ● Drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives in support of the wider Finance transformation agenda.
  • ● Deliver month-end, statutory, audit and regulatory reporting requirements to agreed deadlines.
  • ● Maintain a strong financial control environment, identifying and mitigating financial, operational and fraud risks.
  • ● Partner with Finance, Treasury, banking providers and outsourced teams to ensure effective service delivery, governance and operational performance.
  • ● Support the implementation of new payment channels, banking processes and system enhancements, ensuring appropriate controls are in place.
  • ● Lead, coach and develop onshore and offshore teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • ● Here's what we're looking for:
  • ● Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • ● Significant experience in Cash & Banking, Financial Control, Shared Services or a similar finance environment.
  • ● Strong understanding of reconciliations, financial controls and reporting processes.
  • ● Proven experience leading teams and driving operational performance in a complex organisation.
  • ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • ● Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
  • ● Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • ● Knowledge of banking operations, customer payment processes and associated controls is advantageous.
