About the Role

We're looking for a casual café team member for our Rivervale Support Office to complement our existing team. This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in café operations, food and drinks, and enjoy working in a friendly, fast paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with food and drinks, thrive in a customer focused environment, and takes pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities

  • ● Greet and serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude
  • ● Ability to engage with a variety and diverse range of people
  • ● Prepare and serve coffee, tea and other beverages
  • ● Prepare and serve both hot and cold food items
  • ● Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • ● Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café
  • ● Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
  • ● Support the Café Manager with daily operations and catering requests

Requirements

  • ● Previous café or hospitality experience is highly regarded
  • ● An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team and leaders
  • ● Approachable and confident when interacting with customers
  • ● An eagerness to learn new skills and products
  • ● Comfortable being on your feet and assisting customers across the required span of hours
