Our Trade Centre's operate a little differently to our retail sites providing a delivery and pick up solution for key building lines, delivering bulk quantities of materials to building sites. We partner with our commercial customers, helping them manage their projects with a 'whole of build' solution. About the Role
As a Forklift Operator, you will play an essential role in the efficient operation of our Trade Centre by ensuring the smooth movement of stock, products, and materials. You will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport goods, load and unload deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital to supporting our trade customers and ensuring the timely delivery of products for their projects.
Responsibilities
- ● Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport goods within the Trade Centre.
- ● Organise and maintain stock in the Trade Centre, ensuring products are easily accessible.
- ● Assist in keeping accurate inventory records and assist with stock control.
- ● Ensure safe and efficient storage of goods, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- ● Assist with stock takes and reporting discrepancies when necessary.
- ● Collaborate with the team to fulfil customer orders quickly and accurately.
