About the Job

As a Retail Supervisor at Bunnings, you'll be the go-to support for the store's senior leadership team, maintaining high energy and smooth workflow in your designated department. You will lead by example, working with your team to ensure daily success and efficient operations, inspiring and making a real impact. This role offers an adult pay rate of 30.78 per hour for individuals 18 years of age and above. It is a great opportunity for an aspiring retail leader to grow their leadership career in a supportive team environment, with experienced mentors providing a chance to develop skills, take on challenges, and make an impact.

Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Lead by example by demonstrating best service practices and support the team in providing friendly and helpful advice to customers.
  • ● Coach the team through guidance on appropriate service behaviours.
  • ● Help onboard and train new team members by providing training and induction support.
  • ● Ensure all merchandising meets business requirements.
  • ● Manage and coordinate stock effectively.

Requirements

Education

  • ● Be complimentary to the store leadership team.
  • ● Be results driven and a team player.
  • ● Be approachable and confident, creating positive experiences when interacting with customers.
  • ● Be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours.

Skills

  • ● Share a genuine passion for retail and customer service.
  • ● Have previous experience supervising a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • ● Possess open communication and a genuine interest in coaching and developing others.
  • ● Ability to guide, support, coach and provide feedback to bring the best out of your team.
  • ● Have an eagerness and ongoing enthusiasm to learn about new products.
