About the Role

As the Activities Organiser, you will play the important role of planning and coordinating a wide variety of in-store and community engagement activities. This could include organising weekend sausage sizzles, coordinating community fundraisers, running DIY workshops for both kids and adults alike, and overseeing hands-on activities such as plant potting stations and craft workshops. This is a part-time role and flexibility to work morning, day and evening shifts 3 days a week with Saturday availability a must, so that we can provide the best experience to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • ● Organise, implement and manage all public and in-store activities including kids craft, DIY workshops, supplier demonstrations, family nights and holiday-themed activities for your team
  • ● Visit local schools and community groups to deliver workshops and community projects
  • ● Manage donations and fundraising activities for our local schools and community groups
  • ● Building relationships with local community groups and be the key point of contact at their local Bunnings
  • ● Ensuring all planned activities align with safety and operational guidelines

Requirements

  • ● A genuine passion for supporting and being involved in the community
  • ● Creativity to design and deliver workshops and activities
  • ● Ability to be organised, plan events and manage your time effectively
  • ● The passion to foster meaningful connections with local organisations
