• ● About the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care. Key Responsibilities
• ● Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team
• ● Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents
• ● Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control
• ● Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required
• ● Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
• ● Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
• ● A minimum of one year's experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)
• ● Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)
• ● Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
