About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.

Responsibilities

  • ● Provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care, assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
  • ● Support and care for residents as they age and assist them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
  • ● Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
  • ● Ensure an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

Requirements

  • ● Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
  • ● Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • ● Prior to commencement, complete a National Police Check and/or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain)

Nice to Have

  • ● Experience in Aged Care highly regarded
